The group of 7-8 people was heavily drunk. At first they sang and danced merrily, then they brutally beat up two girls.
A quite surreal robbery attack took place early Sunday morning local time on a New York subway train.
In a report by the Daily Beast, the mother of a 19-year-old girl told how her child was brutally abused by a group of women.
The attackers were quite striking, as they wore neon green, body-simulating clothing, and even covered their faces.
The mother said her daughter was with a friend celebrating her birthday when they were beaten and robbed in Time Square.
A video was also made of the incident, which was first uploaded to Reddit, but also found a place on the New York Post’s YouTube channel.
The mother later asked her daughter if she had said anything to the gang members to upset them.
I wish it were, because then there would be a reason for what happened to me
said the girl, who said the attackers were shouting and provoking people all the time.

The gang in green also took the girls’ mobile phones, credit cards and wallets.
Despite the striking attire, the police still did not manage to catch the robbery gang.
