An artist crashed on the Island

An accident occurred on Friday at the Sziget Festival, one of the elements of a crane broke off at the circus tent while an artist was on it – hvg learned.

One of the performing artists stood on a crane, the structure came loose, pinched his leg and fell with him.

According to the newspaper’s correspondent who was at the scene, someone from the French troupe La Burrasca was injured. There is currently no official information on the condition of the fallen artist, but he was conscious when the ambulance took him away.

The Cirque du Sziget is a tent with about a thousand seats and an outside outdoor venue, the performances of several companies take turns in the tent every day.
