The 10-piece collective ticket is now available in BudapestGO

Thanks to a new development, the 10-piece collective ticket will be available in BudapestGO from April 23, the Budapest Transport Center announced on its social page.

Similar to paper-based tickets, the product can be purchased for HUF 4,000, and the tickets can be used for one year from the date of purchase.

Attention! In order for the collective tickets to appear in the application, the BudapestGO application must be updated.

After purchase, the digital collective ticket must be validated outside the door of the vehicle when boarding, in the same way as individual tickets.

At a time, with one transaction, only one collection ticket of 10 can be purchased within the application, but by starting a new purchase transaction, additional collection tickets can of course be purchased. Tickets that have already been used are added to the used products after the 80-minute validity period expires.

Collective ticket coupons cannot be shared on other devices, however, if several passengers are traveling at the same time, it is possible to validate several coupons consecutively upon boarding. For convenient ticket validation, BKK recommends that all passengers travel with their own mobile phone ticket.

Collective ticket coupons can be validated in several ways:

• With widget function: the product can be displayed on the phone’s home screen, so you don’t even have to enter the application. With the widget function, tickets can be validated in one click with the scan code button,
• With NFC validation: the NFC stickers can also be found on the ticket validation devices displayed at the metro entrances and on the surface vehicles, which can be touched in a single step and the moving image appears,
• By scanning a code: within the application, by clicking on the validation button on the coupon of the 10-piece collector’s ticket, the option to scan the camera code will appear, and after scanning, the moving image will appear, showing that the ticket is already valid.

The application of the year 2023

The Hungarian Marketing Association announced its website of the year competition for the twenty-second time, and within this framework, the jury also voted for the application of the year 2023. In February of this year, BKK’s self-developed application, BudapestGO, won the award.
