An American citizen on a Budapest cruise jumped into the Danube and disappeared, Index reported on Wednesday, to which one of the man’s relatives reported the incident.
According to the report, the 28-year-old man took part in a cruise on Monday night, when he went to the ship’s window without saying a word and jumped into the Danube.
According to the relative, the man has not been found since then, and although the police issued a warrant for the incident, they have not received any information about the status of the search.
The missing man’s name is Hardit Singh, he is about 190 centimeters tall and has a tattoo, which his relative shared a video of.
Due to the disappearance, VII. the district police station issued the warrant.
The relative also said that they had also contacted the US embassy in Budapest. In connection with the case, his relative also shared a photo of the man on Twitter, and a Reddit page was also started to help in the search.
