There will also be a new Sony OLED TV this year

The Bravia 8 uses a 4K panel manufactured by LG Display.

Sony introduced OLED televisions to its range just ten years ago, and it would have been very surprising if the company had not come up with a new solution this year. The holding did not disappoint, as they announced that the XR80 product with the fancy name Bravia 8 will arrive soon.

This device will be available in 55-, 65- and 77-inch versions at a price of 2,000, 3,400 and 4,900 dollars (~740,000, ~1,260,000, ~1,800,000 HUF). Therefore, in exchange for the money, one gets a product with an OLED (probably OLED evo) panel manufactured by LG Display, which produces an infinite contrast ratio, brilliant colors and a maximum luminance of about 1100 cd/m².

The product’s refresh rate can fall between 48-120 Hz, and it is also AMD FreeSync certified. It received the company’s exclusive Acoustic Surface Pro+ technology, where traditional speakers are replaced by vibrating the panel, and subwoofers are also included. Like so many other devices, this one uses the Google TV system developed by Google, which is likely to be its weakest point.
