In order to restore public order, Mi Hazánk would create the gendarmerie, whose powers must be sharply demarcated from the police, since the former fulfills the role of crime prevention, the latter the role of investigation. The gendarmerie, wearing an imposing uniform and receiving special training, would deter criminals just by its appearance, just as this body works well in many European countries. Prevention and crime prevention are needed, not for law enforcement to go to the scene after a crime has already occurred.
Once we are given this task, Mi Hazánk will not need thirteen years, but not even two weeks, to lay the foundations of order!
