Although many food items have become more expensive recently, there are also exceptions: eggs, for example, are now available for significantly cheaper prices compared to last year.
Next to the egg the prices of slaughter chickens and slaughter turkeys are also lower than last year, the producer price of chicken decreased by 20.3 percent and that of turkey by 18.9 percent. This is typical not only in Hungary, but in the entire European Union.
This is how the price of chicken meat changed
