Tamás Éder, the president of the Meat Association, told the newspaper: the fact that products belonging to the “Fresh, chilled or frozen pork” category must now be declared at home means a kind of administrative duplication of work, which may cause unwanted difficulties for those involved. It is a burden for the retail chains who want to buy from imports, as well as for those Hungarian meat product manufacturers who buy raw materials from imports because they cannot find adequate quantities at home.
