The extended-range ATACMS operational-tactical missiles delivered by Washington to Kiev will not affect the achievement of Russia’s operational goals, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters in Moscow on Thursday.

We will achieve what we want, but this (arms delivery) will cause a bigger problem for Ukraine itself

– emphasized Peskov.

He pointed out that the American and EU procedure used in arms delivery cases is already predictable.

“As soon as they start talking objectively about something, it means that this delivery has already been carried out. So how much these deliveries were carried out and paid for in violation of the internal laws of the United States of America is probably not our problem,” the Kremlin spokesman said , adding that the issue is a matter for US congressmen and senators “if anyone wants to deal with it”.

The American Department of Defense, the Pentagon, confirmed to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti on Wednesday that ATACMS operational-tactical ballistic missiles with an increased range of about 300 kilometers were handed over to Ukraine in April, on Ukrainian territory.

According to the war report issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Thursday, the Russian army managed to advance on four fronts, while repelling eight Ukrainian counterattacks. According to the total, the Ukrainian army lost around a thousand dead and seriously wounded along the combat contact line. Among the Ukrainian military targets and military equipment destroyed during the past day, the ministry mentioned, among other things, two ammunition depots, an American HIMARS and a Czech Vampire series launcher, three armored fighting vehicles, an armored transport vehicle, two American-made M109 Paladin self-propelled guns, and six American M777 and a British FH-70 towed howitzer, as well as 200 drones.

Vitaly Ganchev, the Moscow-appointed head of the military-civilian administration of the mostly Ukrainian-controlled Kharkiv Oblast, told Russian state TV channel Perviy Kanal that the Ukrainian authorities began evacuating strategic companies and scientific institutions from the city of Kharkiv to western Ukraine, along with specialists. According to his claim, the Kyiv leadership only wants to keep factories for the repair of military equipment in the settlement.

On Wednesday, the local authorities reported Ukrainian artillery and drone attacks from several settlements in the territories of Ukraine that came under Russian control and in the Russian regions bordering Ukraine.

On Thursday, the Russian Investigative Committee (SZK) released information that more than 3,100 foreign “mercenaries” are currently fighting on the side of Ukraine, mainly from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Georgia. The authority held them accountable.

The SZK press service announced that charges were brought against former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, former Parliament Speaker (later Prime Minister) Volodymyr Hrojshman, and former Minister of Culture and Information Policy Yuri Shtychen for the shelling of the Donetsk basin and other crimes. As members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the defendants supported the decision to implement the so-called “anti-terrorist operation” and participated in its management.

“As a result of their crimes, 582 people were injured and lost their lives, including 16 children, and more than 237 civil infrastructure facilities in the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics were completely destroyed or damaged. Measures are being taken to track them down and arrest them,” the SZK said in a statement.

According to the information published by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) on Thursday, the Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced a man of Ukrainian citizenship from the jurisdiction of Zaporizhia to 11 years in prison for providing Ukrainian secret services with information about the Russian army and Zaporizhia’s electrical network and industrial facilities.
