The Spanish court is investigating his wife’s involvement in a corruption case.
The Spanish Prime Minister will consider whether to resign until Monday after a court investigates his wife’s involvement in a corruption case – about Pedro Sánchez he himself reported on X, in his open letter to the citizens on Wednesday. As he wrote, following the announcement of a “far-right organization” called Manos Limpios (Clean Hands), he initiated preliminary proceedings with his wife, Begona with Gómez opposite a Madrid court investigating suspicions of influence peddling and business corruption.
The head of government emphasized that the organization’s denunciation was based on alleged information from ultra-conservative media outlets, against which, due to their untruthfulness, his wife took legal action.

said Pedro Sánchez. In his letter, he explained: the attacks he has suffered are actually directed against the progressive political option he represents, based on economic progress, social justice and democratic renewal, which millions of Spaniards have supported in election after election.

Pedro Sánchez concluded his letter by saying that he needs to stop and think about whether to continue at the head of the government or resign from this high honor, so he will cancel all public events for the next five days and will announce his decision on Monday.
