According to a survey reported by the Kyiv Independent 62 percent of the Ukrainian population would be ready to fight with arms for their country, 33 percent do not, and 4 percent are unsure. In Ukraine, of course, this question is not only hypothetical.

In Armenia, 96 percent of respondents said that they would be ready to fight for their country.

The Caucasian country is under constant threat from its neighbor Azerbaijan, the border disputes between the two countries are currently being tried to be resolved. Azerbaijan and the third Caucasian country, Georgia (Georgia) residents also said in high proportion that they were ready to fight for their country.

In general in Asian countries respondents turned out to be the most combative. Outstanding Saudi Arabiawhere 94 percent of the population would take up arms, but many would do the same Afghanistanin, Pakistanin and Indiain (the latter two are old enemies of each other). Japan however, it is out of line: this is where they said the least that they would take up arms to defend their country.

In America and Europe, they want to fight for their country the least. The willingness to fight is lowest in Southern Europe, while it is highest in Central-Eastern Europe. Threatened by Russia Moldovain more than half of the population said they would take up arms for their country, Romaniain and Polandin slightly less than half.
