Previously, he convinced the player observers of Chelsea and Arsenal, now Liverpool has chosen the Hungarian-born striker, Viktor Gyökeres, nb1.hu reports.

The 25-year-old Gyökeres Vikor is a Sporting football player who is producing quite spectacular numbers this season. So far, the attacker has scored 38 goals and provided 16 assists in 45 competitive matches, and with this performance he has attracted the attention of the biggest clubs.

According to hitc.com, one of the suitors for the player could be Liverpool, so it could easily happen that Dominik Szoboszlai’s teammate will be the goalscorer.

Liverpool’s observers watched the Portuguese champions Sporting-Guimares at the weekend, during which Gyökeres was closely watched. In the meeting, which Sporting won 3-0, the striker scored twice.

“I don’t think much about my future, right now I’m focusing on winning the championship and the cup with Sporting. I feel good here, and then in the summer we will see how my fate develops” – said Viktor Gyökeres, who has played in 20 matches in the Swedish national team so far.

The player’s current contract with the Portuguese club expires in the summer of 2028.
