Days before the tragic accident on Ferihegy Road, the Nepalese people transported by the people smuggler were deported

--

Three days before the Ferihegy road accident that claimed two lives, a group of seven Nepalese people, transported by the trafficker who caused the accident, was deported from Hungary, RTL Híradó learned.

Last Thursday at 10 p.m., two passengers of a car that was driving legally died in the collision. The accident was caused by a 21-year-old Moldovan citizen Iavorschi Nicolai, who was driving a Volkswagen Touareg and was heading from the airport towards the city center. Its passengers were Nepalese, who were seen fleeing the scene by those who stopped to help and residents of the area due to the accident, but two left their documents in the car, so the police were able to identify the team and issued a warrant against them the very next day.

As RTL knows, the Nepali group of seven in total crashed in Bács-Kiskun county four days before the accident, and the next day they were deported from the country – except that the Moldovan people smuggler successfully brought them back. According to the expert interviewed by Híradó, smugglers undertake to try to bring deported people back again and again, because they will not receive the full amount until they succeed.

Police are currently looking for the driver, who has a warrant out for his arrest and will most likely face jail time if caught. They are also looking for Nepalis, who may be prosecuted for failure to provide assistance and then deported again.
