The ESPN report Clifton police found Cunningham’s body in the player’s own home on Thursday after a family member said he hadn’t heard from him in days. The cause of death has not been released, but police have opened an investigation into the matter despite there being no signs of foul play.

During Cuningham’s career he also played for the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots and New York Giants. The latter said goodbye to the player drafted seventh in 2018 on his social media page.
