A traffic accident without personal injury occurred on Huszár út 11 in Szombathely on Friday afternoon.
The driver of a Ford passenger car heading towards Kőszeg noticed the other Ford in front of him slowing down for traffic reasons too late and his vehicle slid into the one in front of him.
The man who caused the accident was not at his vehicle when the accident scene investigator arrived. As it turned out, he quenched his thirst with water at a nearby restaurant. However, the neutral liquid did not penetrate the probe. As the driver was suspected of being drunk, patrol officers arrived and brought the driver to the Szombathely police station.
There was a traffic jam at the scene of the accident.
