The wind vanes of the world-famous Moulin Rouge in Paris broke off, the fire department of the French capital announced. According to their statement, no one was injured in the accident that occurred at night, and there is no danger of the building collapsing further. The reason for the fall of the wind blades could not be established yet, MTI wrote.
According to an employee of the Moulin Rouge, this is the first such accident in the history of the amusement park, which opened in 1889, and they don’t know what caused it either. He also said that the management of the amusement park checks the operation of the wind blades of the mill every week, and so far everything has been found to be fine. He added that it was lucky that the accident happened after closing time on Wednesday evening.

The 135-year-old Moulin Rouge is one of the most popular attractions in Paris, in front of which thousands of tourists take photos every day. According to the information provided by the nightclub, they hold two performances every evening and have around 600,000 guests a year.
