The often cheeky Prince Louis is a favorite of many from the often stiff British royal family. At the coronation, for example, the then five-year-old boy sat in the front row in Westminster Abbey with the eight-year-old Sarolta and their parents, Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales. According to British newspapers, he was already making faces in front of the church before the historic ceremony began, and then he yawned.
Sarolta then took her hand to lead her to their place in the church. After they sat down, TV viewers saw Lajos asking his sister questions while pointing to the ceiling of the abbey. After that, however, he disappeared from the eyes of hundreds of millions of viewers, who speculated on social media about what happened to him.
Queen Camilla recently visited the Isle of Man, where a local settlement, Douglas, was granted city status, and even then she brought up the gossiping prince. In the celebrating crowd there was a 38-year-old woman with her twins, to whom the queen said, “I have a grandson named Lajos… quite burdensome”. At the ceremony, everyone was dressed in blue, including the queen, and she said about the twins that “it will be easier for them when they are older, when they are two years old”. Another memorable moment of the ceremony was when an eight-year-old girl asked if she could be her best friend, which Kamilla accepted.
