“He was found between life and death” – the father of the family drifted off the road with his car near Monor, the wreckage was barely found among the trees

A Renault Thalia drifted off the road and crashed into trees in the early hours of Monday on the 3112 road, near the M4 motorway. The professional firefighters from Monor used a chainsaw to remove the trees that had fallen on the car, freed the trapped driver from the wreckage using tension cutters, and then disconnected the vehicle. The rescued person suffered serious injuries.

The serious accident happened on the road section between Monor and Gomba on Tuesday morning, April 23. The damaged car was stuck between the trees by passers-by. The car, which had already been crushed by then, was located deep among the trees, and the vehicle was also covered by broken tree branches and foliage. “The poor man was basically between life and death, he was badly injured, he was not even conscious. You don’t even know how long he was there, among the bushes and trees. The car was also badly broken, from the glass to the door, everything. It was as if a tree had really skewered him,” an eyewitness told Bors.
