All pupils have been sent home from a primary school in Liverpool after a car crashed into the school building, the Mirror reported.
Based on the pictures taken at the scene, it is clear that during the collision the vehicle crashed through the wall of the school and then stopped in the middle of one of the rooms of the building, while pieces of bricks and ruins can be seen everywhere around it.
The accident happened at Beacon Church of England Primary School on Heyworth Road at 8.30am local time on Monday morning, just as parents were taking their children to school.
After the accident, the students were immediately evacuated from the building, and soon after they were allowed to go home. Policemen, ambulances and fire trucks rushed to the scene, and immediately closed the area with a police cordon.
According to the police, the female driver of the car was questioned on the spot after the accident. One passenger of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, they added. According to the authorities, there were no other personal injuries, and the children were not present at the scene of the accident at the ominous moment.
The building is assessed for possible structural damage. The school will be closed for the rest of the day and road closures are in place. Please avoid the area

The school teaches children between the ages of 2 and 11. The parents were completely shocked by the incident, especially since several people witnessed it when their children arrived at the institution in the morning.
