Traffic Police Department of the Budapest Police Headquarters 01000/1662/2024. the Budapest XVIII. district, on the section of highway 4 leading to Ferenc Liszt International Airport, at the height of Billentyű utca, in the case of a road traffic accident that resulted in the death of two people, reports Police.hu.
The police reported that, according to the available data, from the direction of the airport
the Volkswagen Touareg heading towards the city, driven by 21-year-old Moldovan citizen Iavorschi Nicolai, crossed into the opposite lane, where it collided with two other cars.
Two people were killed in one car, and two people were injured in the other.
The BRFK identified the driver of the Volkswagen Touareg, against whom an arrest warrant was issued. The driver and passengers of the causing vehicle fled after the accident. Passengers who also escaped are also being rounded up.
The Criminal Department of the BRFK initiated criminal proceedings for human trafficking in connection with the case.
