Péter Magyar is auctioning his feminine sunglasses, the bid is already 1.2 million forints

Sunglasses were made famous by Tamás Menczer. The bid started at HUF 10,000, but someone would pay many times more for it.

“I would like to donate my sunglasses made famous by propaganda to charity. I am putting the Ray-Ban glasses that have walked El Camino up for public auction. The starting price: HUF 10,000,” announced Péter Magyar on Facebook. The vice-chairman of the TISZA Party also announced that a family with several children in a difficult situation in the Debrecen area will receive the money collected on Mother’s Day.

You can bid under the post in the comments on April 22, i.e. until Monday evening at 6 p.m. Shortly after 11:30 on Sunday morning, the highest bid was HUF 1.2 million.

Regarding the politician’s sunglasses, Tamás Menczer, Fidesz’s communications director, previously wrote in a comment that they are women’s:

“Your sunglasses are nice. When he declares it, he is particularly statesmanlike. You can clearly see your narcissistic self-worship, your contempt for everyone. Oh, one small thing: her sunglasses are women’s.”

Magyar also responded to Menczer in a comment:

“…we know that you were Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs without doing any real foreign affairs work, maybe you don’t even speak English at a basic level, but the fact that you can’t tell the difference between men’s and women’s sunglasses surprised me.”
