One of the founders of OnePlus, Carl Pei, presented his new phone brand last year, “the one less”, i.e. Nothing.

The trick of the mid-range phone running modified Android, which is also available in Hungary, lies in its design, i.e. the transparent back panel and the LEDs hidden underneath. (It also received the prestigious Red Dot design award.)

It seems that there was a demand for it, as Pei already announced the successor in a recent interview with Forbes, the Nothing Phone (2) model may arrive in July.

The CEO didn’t go into details, but he did confirm that, as previously rumored, their second device will get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip used in many brands’ cool models in 2022, which is an improvement over the Snapdragon built into the Nothing Phone (1) Compared to 778G+.

The battery is also improving, instead of the current 4500 mAh unit, the Phone (2) is equipped with a 4700 mAh unit. Of course, in addition to the capacity, the charging speed is also important – there is serious competition in this area – but this is a secret for now, as is whether the spectacular LEDs on the back panel will remain.

The price is also not known yet, but we assume that Pei, who knows the business well, will pay attention to this as well, for a brand that is still being introduced – they only enter the US market with the new model – it is important that they can appeal to customers with an attractive price .

Since the launch of the first phone, Nothing has added two earphones to its range, and maybe we can even get beer in a minimalist design box from them for this summer…
