Warzone 2 has been out for less than a week and millions of players are getting familiar with the new Al Mazrah map and the new features added to the sequel. Systems like backpack looting and Strongholds provide a completely different experience in the new game than in the original Warzone,
but not all changes were received positively.
One of the biggest issues with Warzone 2 for many players is the new, faster TTK, which fans say closes the skill gap, especially in melee.
Reddit user Dull-Caterpillar called on Infinity Ward to address TTK in a future update. He argued that starting each match with only 200 health in a battle royale is too low.

“Melee feels like the one who sees the other first wins the shooting,” he wrote in his post. “Sometimes, to be honest, it feels like we’re just playing on a bigger map in multiplayer.”
He also added that slowing movement and reducing TTK will make Warzone 2 more punishing, giving the advantage to whoever spots the enemy first.
Other players seemed to agree with the original poster: “This game is basically about whoever sees it first wins. It’s crazy how many times I’ve been killed with three plate armor and I couldn’t even tell where they were shooting at me.”
While close range TTK clearly causes problems for players, in long range fights the problem is just the opposite.
“In long range combat it’s like shooting marshmallows, and in close range it’s like being hit in the face with a shotgun, even though it was just a ground loot SMG,” wrote one commenter. “The long-term TTK is too long and the short-term one too short”.
There are several ways Infinity Ward could address this issue in Warzone 2. They could rework the damage range and multipliers of many weapons, or adjust the maximum health players have when they hit the ground.
