Google Pixel 9 Pro!
We’ve rounded up the most important features of the Google Pixel 9 Pro.
Preliminary rumors were that the next model will be foldable, but for now it seems that fans will have to get used to the normal, well-accustomed appearance this year.

What has been revealed so far is that there is a good chance that the phone will come with a 6.2″ display by default.
The picture below shows the size difference between an iPhone 14 Pro Max and the Google Pixel 9 Pro, but the difference is not too big.
Some people think that the name Pro should have a larger display than the 6.2″ based on previous Google Pixel models, but it is not yet known how Google justifies the display dimensions.
The Pixel 8, 7 and 6 series each include a smaller base version and a larger Pro model with extra features. Although this year’s Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ both came with high-end hardware with the same camera island, the smaller model has less RAM and storage than the larger one.
Users are starting to feel that it is not enough to choose the basic model for the best functions, because they feel that it is “getting away”. In order for someone to get all-day performance and, if applicable, also use the phone for work, the Pro model is recommended, because the slightly lower performance does not necessarily meet the needs.
The phone is also expected to come with 12 GB of RAM and a 5x telephoto camera. The price of the Google Pixel 9 Pro will reportedly fall between 900-1000 USD, which translates to roughly 497,000 HUF.
For those who are afraid of why the price of the phone is so high, i.e. why it will be so high, a simple illustrative example follows.
The Hungarian retail price formula is as follows:
- Product price $1,000 (approx. HUF 365,000)
- This is converted into €1,000, / €1,000 approx. HUF 393,000)
- Add the wonderful 27% VAT = HUF 499,000
This is how a 365,000 forint phone will magically turn into 500,000 HUF.
At least if the majority of the phones give their retail price in dollars, you have to account for a EUR exchange and then add the 27% VAT!
