At the end of March, Vivo made a device official for the European market without much fanfare. The Vivo V40 SE is now available for purchase from select local retailers. The device is distributed by the German Alza for 279 euros (~110 thousand HUF), but you can also buy it from the Austrians if you go to a Mediamarkt and leave 299 euros (~117 thousand HUF).

It is by no means excluded that the smartphone will appear at other distributors and in other countries, that is, it may even come to us. Of course, in this case we can prepare for a slightly higher price.

Otherwise, it will be worth waiting for the device, because it is a smartphone with a 6.67-inch, 1080p+ resolution, 120 Hz AMOLED screen, whose display can shine with a brightness of up to 1800 nits.

The Vivo V40 SE is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of expandable storage. There is a triple camera image recording system on the back of the device, with a 50-megapixel module at the top, which is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro unit.

The front camera records 16 megapixel selfies, as long as the 5000 mAh battery has enough power. The battery can be charged with a maximum of 44 watts via cable. The Vivo V40 SE comes in purple and black shades. The black version has a glass back, and the purple has a leatherette back.
