The new MIAD 01 device focuses on audio capabilities, everything else is secondary. By default, it has two analog connectors, a 3.5 mm (with 2 Vrms output) and a 4.4 mm (with 4 Vrms output) ensuring symmetrical signal transmission, these are located on the top of the device’s frame.

A Cirrus Logic MasterHiFi DAC works inside the device housing, its type was not specified by Moondrop, but it can be assumed based on the product description that it is the CS43198. With this, the dynamic range is 132 dB, and the SINAD (Signal to Noise And Distortion, the ratio of the performance of the useful signal and noise and distortions — harmonics and intermodulation components —) is 118 dB. But even this is not the end of the sound-focused functions, because there is a dedicated, six-layer gold-plated audio circuit, for which a separate LDO power supply is installed in the phone. One Audio Center through an application called hardware-level DAC volume control in one hundred levels, but this program can also be used for dynamic DSP control. LDAC audio codec is supported for wireless audio transmission.
