Erangel is back, nostalgia can spin.

As much as players like to jump into new things, they are not opposed to recalling the past: nothing proves this better than the success of World of Warcraft Classic or Fortnite OG, which were clearly built to recall pleasant memories, and their popularity has not been lost.

The veteran battle royale, launched in 2017, the developers of PUBG have tried everything in recent years to make the experience more exciting, they even turned it into a board game, but now the time has come for them to use their biggest weapon, nostalgia.

It can be great news for both old and new PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players that the original battle royale map, Erangel, will return, but only for a limited time, and will feature classic balancing, visuals, melancholic weather, weapons packed on the table, among other things and also the “vintage” user interface. Weapon recoil has also been reduced, and the Tommy Gun can once again be found in the Care Package, just like in the old days.

Erangel Classic will be playable on PC between May 14th and 28th, and then on consoles between May 23rd and June 6th. Will you be looking back for Erangel Classic?
