Over the past week, the developers have been testing Call of Duty’s weapons as part of Modern Warfare III Ranked. The result has arrived.
23.04.2024 “Like that.” we have already reported, the developers of Call of Duty have been conducting a really interesting experiment in recent days. Modern Warfare III’s Ranked mode has undergone a small change, thanks to which weapons that have not been seen by players for a long time could return. In this form, the developers tested how well they made a decision when they were removed at the time. The meta can remain relatively stable thanks to the many bans, but as a result, new weapons have no chance of entering the game. However, diversity could have helped a lot.
On April 16, the developers re-enabled the following weapons in the Ranked mode of Modern Warfare III:
These were weapons that the community adores outside of Ranked modes, which is why many people did not even agree with the bans. The programmers of Call of Duty canceled the above mode on April 23, and soon published the results of the tests. Well, nothing good is worth getting ready for.
All tested Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III weapons remained banned, even an extra SMG flew
The newly published patchnotesit can quickly become clear that, in addition to the weapons already mentioned above, another SMG has also been placed on the banned list. WSP Swarm is also now unavailable for use in ranked matches. Such decisions are made by a complete committee in both Warzone and Modern Warfare III modes, in close cooperation with professional players. In recent years, the weapons on the list have never returned, which is why the results of the test were so eagerly awaited. It seems that the banned AR and SMG weapons are really so powerful that the developers simply can’t let them back.
