While previously we only found models with higher image updates in the upper price segment, nowadays we can read much friendlier price tags. In 2024, neither the image refresh between 144-180 Hz nor the IPS/VA panel are any longer mischievous. In terms of resolutions, 1080p still takes the lead, this can also be seen from April’s Steam statistics. Owners of lower or mid-range machines should also look here, as it is much easier to drive this with a weaker VGA.

VA can be a great option for many, even better in certain situations, but a significant number of users experience some ghosting with those panels.
