Leaked images show Huawei’s latest smartwatch, which could even be an Apple Watch – PCW

While Huawei presented its latest top-of-the-range phone just this week, on the watch front, the veil has now fallen on a new entrant from the company. The design of smart watches basically covers a rather wide spectrum – especially in the world of WearOS – nevertheless, the next entry of the Chinese company cannot deny that it drew inspiration from it.

The pictures of the Huawei Watch Fit 3 were taken by a colleague of WinFuture, Roland Quandt shared on Twitter/X before its official unveiling.

The images show that the watch has a square design with a thin frame and rounded corners, with two rather familiar buttons on the right side. If Apple’s smart watches jump out at the sight of the design, it’s no accident at all, because the Huawei Watch Fit 3 is essentially identical to the Cupertino’s Watches.

Beyond the design, however, there probably won’t be much similarity between the two devices. In terms of software capabilities, the Fit 3 will most likely be much weaker than Apple’s watches, but even in its own category, it is questionable whether it will be competitive.

The Huawei Watch Fit product line focuses mainly on fitness functions, so it can be guessed that the new watch will also run a simplified version of HarmonyOS, which allows users to use some applications, sleep tracking, and forward notifications and calls from the phone.

It is not known exactly when the Huawei Watch Fit 3 will arrive. As a result, the price is questionable, which, if it can be cut down enough, could perhaps bring the device to a wider audience.
