Based on information provided by the Hungarian Federation (MKSZ) on Thursday, on behalf of Ádám Bíró and Olivér Kiss the Olympic presence of Hungarian handball was completesince both the men’s and women’s national teams will start, and five Hungarian players and one coach can represent Hungary at the beach handball gala, which is introduced as a deposit program.

Ferenc Ilyés, the president of MKSZ, pointed out in a statement.

“If we add the beach handball players to that, we really can’t miss it. I congratulate Ádám Bíró and Olivér Kiss, as well as the entire Hungarian referee society and our sports diplomats, as this is also their success! The best referees will be there at the Olympics, we are proud that two Hungarians among them will be able to officiate at the games,” he added.

In Paris, in addition to the Hungarian double, Algerian, Argentine, Bosnian, Czech, Danish, Spanish, French, two German, North Macedonian, Montenegrin, Norwegian, Slovenian, Swiss and Swedish doubles will lead matches, MTI reports.

Hungarian referees will participate in the five-hoop games for the seventh time, the last time the pair of Jenő Klucsó and Tivadar Lekrinszki took part in the Sydney Olympics was 24 years ago, in 2000.

The group rivals of the men’s national team will be Argentina, Egypt, Norway, Denmark and France, while the women can fight for a place in the last eight against Angola, Brazil, Spain, the Netherlands and France.
