It has been decided that further investigations are required in relation to the proposed change and will return to this topic at a later date.

So far, the teams have not voted on the new points system of F1: according to the plans, instead of the first ten places, the driver finishing in the first twelve positions could receive points, thus the speeding circus would respond to the reliability of the field and the cars that constantly reach many targets.

At today’s meeting of the F1 Committee, the topic was also put on the agenda, but in the end the decision was made not to rush the change for the time being: the topic requires a more thorough analysis and investigation, because it is a significant amendment.

This option would be really motivating for the middle teams, and the top teams won’t shy away from it based on the preliminary news, since they are less affected by this system, and it will not put them at a disadvantage in any way.

However, the stakeholders decided that everyone should evaluate the draft for the time being and come back to it at the next meeting of the F1 Commission, because for now there is no reason to rush or rush the decision.
