Fiorentina won the first match 1-0, but the home team overcame their deficit very quickly, Teun Koopmeiners scored in the 8th minute. The score did not change for a long time, but it was an important change in the 53rd minute Nikola Milenkovic expelled from Fiorentina. Despite the human disadvantage, the purples Lucas Martinez they equalized with his goal, but the home team scored in the 75th minute Gianluca Scamacca with a beautiful scissor shot, they regained the lead – leveling the match.

Atalanta went for another goal with a man advantage, but nothing seemed to go their way, including Charles De Ketelaere missing his shot. In fact, after another four minutes Mario Pasalic who thus ensured the home team’s victory and passage to the final. It is interesting that both Lookman and Pasalic came on as substitutes in the 70th minute.
