The capital club appointed Szekeres at the end of November, who was initially able to give new impetus to the NB II newcomer. However, the last rounds did not go very well for the team, they lost four games in a row, so with five rounds before the end of the championship, Zugló is in 15th place in the table, which means elimination, one point behind Pécs, which is in 14th place.

Rain’s tenure as head coach lasted five months
The 51-year-old Szekeres started his professional career at FTC, but also played for MTK, Újpest, Debrecen and Sopron. In addition to a total of four league titles, he can call himself a seven-time Hungarian Cup and three-time Super Cup winner. Szekeres, a six-time member of the Hungarian national team, later played football in Norway, Belgium and Germany. After his retirement, he worked as the technical director of the Hungarian association in Siófok, at the Vasas Kubala Academy, and as a professional consultant at Ferencváros, but this was his first assignment as a head coach.
BVSC, who have not won in NB II for more than a month, lost 1-0 in Siófok, after which Szekeres submitted his resignation, and the management accepted it.
THE BVSC announcement for the rest of the season, the team will be managed again by Ádám Kincses, who was already in this position in the fall, after the club fired Flórián Urbán in September, under whose leadership the Budapest team advanced to NB II. Kincses managed Zugló in ten games at the beginning of the season, which under his leadership won three times, drew twice and lost five times.
In its press release, the club emphasizes that the goal is to remain in the league in the remaining weeks of the season, which will not be easy, as it also plays against the leaders Nyíregyháza and Budapest Honvéd.
There was also a change of coach at ETO, also in the second division, at Győri Balázs Borbély replaced the fired Sergej Kuznetsov.
