Eight luxury and personalized watches of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher will be auctioned. However, not just anyone can get access to the watches, as those interested have to reach deep into their pockets if they want to touch one of the pieces. The total value of the watches is around 4 million dollars, Bild reported.
The auction is scheduled to take place on May 13 in Geneva, Switzerland, but before that, the public can admire the special pieces live at an exhibition in New York between May 3 and May 5, the weekend of the Miami Grand Prix.
Schumacher’s family carefully considered which pieces to get rid of. They specifically selected those that they believed watch collectors would be able to appreciate their true value.
