After the strengthening on Wednesday morning, the forint began to weaken again in the afternoon against the leading currencies, but after that, it seems that the Hungarian currency is able to find its way again, because on Thursday morning the forint’s strengthening again played the main role.

The EUR/HUF exchange rate was already below 393 in the first half of the day on Wednesday, but after that the quotation was already at the level of 394 by the evening. The exchange rate is currently at the level of 393.76.
The forint also began to weaken against the dollar on Wednesday afternoon, reaching close to the 369 level, but after that, the Hungarian currency began to strengthen again, so the quote moved further away from the important 370 level. Currently, the USD/HUF exchange rate is hovering at the 368 level.
The euro-dollar exchange rate broke through the important level of 1.07 on Wednesday, so the weakening of the dollar may continue, and this may also help the forint as an emerging market currency.
