The first HMD-branded phones were presented, previous rumors indicated that the manufacturer’s own-brand devices could debut in June, but they have already appeared and will be available in Germany.
HMD Pulse, HMD Pulse+ and HMD Pulse Pro have arrived. The mid-range mobiles share the same Unisoc T606 chip made with 12 nanometer manufacturing technology, but the devices also have in common a 6.65-inch display with a 90-hertz refresh rate and a maximum They received an IPS LCD display with a peak brightness of 600 nits and a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels.
The HMD Pulse has a 13-megapixel rear camera that supports autofocus, and there is also a secondary unit that supports photography, which we don’t know more about yet. The front camera is 8 megapixels.
The Pulse+ has a 50-megapixel rear camera, with an 8-megapixel unit on the front. Both phones have a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10-watt wired charging, which can even be replaced by the user.
The Pulse Pro’s 50-megapixel rear camera is paired with a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 50-megapixel unit on the front. The mobile battery is 5,000 mAh and replaceable, like the other members of the series, but this device already supports 20-watt charging.
The phones come with Android 14, and the fingerprint reader has been moved to the side on all devices.
In HMD’s new phones, several parts can be replaced at home, for which you can find instructions on the iFixit website, for example here for the Pulse.
The HMD Pulse comes to Hungary in sky blue and pink, the 4 GB / 64 GB DualSim edition will be available at a suggested retail price of HUF 49,990 from mid-May.
The Pulse+ comes in glacier green and midnight blue colors, in a 4 GB / 128 GB DualSim version, at a recommended retail price of HUF 59,990, also from mid-May.
The Pulse Pro will be available in glacier green, deep sea and twilight purple colors from the middle of May, in the 8 GB / 256 GB DualSim version, at a recommended retail price of HUF 74,990.
