1. Oversized dresses Maxi dresses and skirts and oversized sweaters are extremely comfortable, especially on a long flight. However, these items of clothing can result in longer delays at security, as it is easier to hide belongings underneath. Jackets and sweaters almost always have to be removed during inspection, which can take up valuable time, so put them in your carry-on or choose pieces that you can easily put on and take off.
