A lot of money is needed to fulfill Vitézy’s promises; until now, there was only one person who was able to get a lot of money from the government, and his name was István Tarlós, who came up with the money for the renovation of the 3 subway, Dorner reminded. He added that Dávid Vitézy has not been able to do this so far, because all his projects and playgrounds have been taken away from him.
“Dávid is excellent at spending other people’s money,” said Dorner, adding that Vitézy is a world champion in grandstanding and dreaming up huge concrete buildings. Mayor-candidate Vitézy is great at making visual plans, but “science stops” here, since Vitézy has not handed over anything since 2014 – reminded the VEKE president.
Dorner does not see it as realistic that Vitézy would be able to do anything at the Ministry of Construction and Transportation, which is headed by János Lázár. “It’s hard for me to describe this matter with a better word than discredited, so let those who are above it blame themselves,” said Lajos Dorner.
