Azhariah he is currently one of the most popular performers in our country. The 22-year-old artist’s songs are listened to by millions, and in May he will perform three times Puskás Arena. This huge success is almost unprecedented in Hungary, and on April 18, the young singer had another surprise when he released his album titled Skatutya I in the evening.
Mixing genres is not unusual for Azahriah: there are times when he changes tempo and genre, and even language, several times within the same song. He likes to use these striking features on his new album. In the song Cipoe, for example, he starts with a new hip-hop sound, then switches to a sound world reminiscent of the rap hits of the ’90s. In the lesson, he combines the reggae rhythm with some Mexican style and spices it all up with a guitar solo. And the fight continues the Mexican direction with the melodic guitar themes that ring out, which can easily be imagined as the background score of a Zorro movie.
And speaking of guitar, the note “tartaros” turned out to be quite unusual this time, as it is Azahriah’s hardest song so far, which brings us sounds similar to the sounds of the bands System of a Down and Rammstein. This latter parallel is not accidental at all, because at the end of the metal song, Azi sings a few lines in German.
To compensate for this, the song “The Gate” operates at a slower, lyrical tempo, so those who prefer softer melodies will find their calculations on this disc. Azahriah also favored those who want to party, as the song “Yukata” will probably be a big hit at the concerts, as you can easily dance to the Latin dance floor dance.
