When a screenwriter returns to his childhood home, he has a mystical encounter with a strange neighbor, and his former parents reappear as if they hadn’t been dead thirty years. Magyarhangya will bring All of Us Strangers starring Andrew Scott (Ripley, Sherlock) and Paul Mescal (Once Upon a Summer, Normal People) to Hungarian cinemas for a few screenings in May.
Adam (Andrew Scott) is a writer who lives alone in an apartment in a modern London tower block. Apart from him, the house has only one other resident, Harry (Paul Mescal), the downstairs neighbor. A strange relationship develops between the two men, which is overshadowed by Adam’s past. The writer’s parents died thirty years ago, but Adam finds a new way to try to process the grief: he regularly visits his hometown to relive his memories.
