At the event, visitors can buy special souvenirs and handicrafts, fashion items, as well as national food specialties and products at the national and thematic stands of more than 30 countries on Sunday, organized by the Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest (DSB), the organizers told MTI in his announcement.

The Diplomatic Charity Fair 2022 will be organized for the 11th time this year in Budapest in cooperation with the Budapest embassies of several countries. The patron of the fair is Szilvia Szijjártó-Nagy, the wife of the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The ambassadors of many countries accredited to Budapest take part in the charity fair. The visitors are entertained by the cultural productions of the embassies, and valuable prizes can be won in the traditional raffle.

The organizers of the entire proceeds of this year’s Diplomat Charity Fair are the Tolleb Élni Egyesület, which supports the housing and employment of children and young people with cumulative and mild disabilities; it is offered to the Bizsu Community Square and the Heim Pál Children’s Hospital, which supports the children of Roma families living in extreme poverty.

The Diplomatic Charity Fair will be held on Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the InterContinental Budapest hotel, the announcement states.
