He considers it unimaginable that Ádám Lang, defender of the Hungarian national football team, who suffered a fractured metatarsal bone during a training session at the end of March, will not play in his Cypriot club team this season.

The 31-year-old player told the current channel M1 on Friday that he feels good, although the crack is believed to have not completely healed yet. He is waiting for the results of the most recent control X-ray, because until then he cannot put any weight on the injured part of the body, as long as it is still cracked – even to a minimal extent.

“I don’t force jogging, but I can do strengthening exercises in the gym and in the swimming pool, and I also try to maintain the muscles around the injured area with tapes. I would like to do full-fledged work as soon as possible, but the healing of the bone has a process that takes time. The doctors estimated the recovery time at four to six, but rather six weeks” – said Lang, who, according to MTI’s review, wanted to return to Omonia Nicosia for the last two games of the season.

The 67-time national football player revealed that national team captain Marco Rossi inquires about his condition almost every week and advised him not to rush, to be patient, because the most important thing is to recover 100%.

“I’m not nervous about my participation in the European Championship, I will recover by then. I will do everything to reach my goal, which is to be there at the European Championships” – emphasized Lang, and also said that he thinks about the continental tournament every day.

His goal with his Cypriot team is to retain third place in the championship and win the final in the cup, and they will have a new head coach from the summer, but they have not yet met him in person.

Lang played in 21 matches for his club team this season, he played the last two meetings of the national team, against Kosovo and Turkey.
