What worries experts is the seemingly unstoppable warming of sea surface temperatures. Since April 17, water temperatures have been higher almost every day, despite the fact that the temperature of sea waters usually decreases at this time of the year, reports Időkép.
The warming is also significant in the North Atlantic region, which is the most decisive for our weather. The average surface water temperature here is currently 21 degrees, which is 0.4 degrees higher than the value measured at this time last year.
