THE county police officers are also involved in the eradication of illegal landfills. The government provides support to the organizations for the year-long national campaign. The opening of the Komárom-Esztergom county campaign was held on April 26 in Tárkány. After the event, the teams went together to pick up trash. Csaba Kun, the president of the County Police Association, told Kemma.hu that 21 organizations joined the campaign. In the future, they will organize the actions at the local level.

Among others, Dr. Czunyiné participated in the event. Also Judit Bertalan, Member of Parliament, who, after greeting the police officers, said that the campaign also has a calling and attention-grabbing role.

Fight against illegal litterers

“You don’t only have to pick up trash on Earth Day, but on other days as well.” no need to litter. I think that the garbage collection campaign called Te Szedd should also be renamed Ne Dobd El. But unfortunately, there are still a lot of people who throw away the garbage, put it in the trunk of the car and take the household waste far away to dump it illegally. I think that in order for this to change, a change of perspective is needed. The civic guard association is a predictable and stable partner of local governments, so they can set an example for the community in this task as well, said the representative.
