We have one gold medalist and three podium finishers at the Professional Star Festival

Two hundred competitors from sixty professions

At this year’s competition, 200 students in nearly 60 professions competed for the best recognition in Budapest.

“The contestants first tested their skills at the regional qualifiers organized by county, and then the finalists could prove themselves at the national qualifiers. 428 students from our county competed in 28 professions in the aforementioned regional pre-selection, 25 competitors representing 10 professions made it to the national selection, he said. Tamás Bihall, the president of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BOKIK), who was also part of the festival as an organizer. In the finals held as part of the Professional Star Festival, our county was represented by six competitors in five professions, they were as follows: Gergely Gudasz dealer and web store technician, Miskolc SZC Berzeviczy Gergely Technikum, László Somos hospitality organizer, Miskolc SZC Berzeviczy Gergely Technikum, Oliver Mátyás Tóth railway traffic attendant, Miskolci SZC Gábor Baross Business and Transport Technical College, Balázs Kádár IT technician, Miskolci SZC Kálmán Kálmán Informaticai Technikum, Réka Juhász hairdresser, Miskolci SZC Szemere Bertalan Technical College, Vocational School and College and Greta Gyurkó hairdresser, Miskolci SZC Szemere Bertalan Technical College, Vocational School and College.

In the end, hairdresser Réka Juhász took first place in the competition, but three more competitors also finished on the podium.
