Four of the six competitors representing Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén reached the podium at this year’s Professional Star Festival.

The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the national competition of professions for the 17th time, the finals of which will take place on April 24-26. was held in Budapest, at the Hungexpo Budapest Convention and Exhibition Center. At this year’s competition, 200 students in nearly 60 professions competed for the best recognition in Budapest. Competitors first tested their skills at the regional pre-selections organized by county, and then the finalists were able to prove themselves at the national selections.

428 students from the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén counties competed in 28 professions in the aforementioned regional pre-selection, 25 competitors representing 10 professions advanced to the national selection.

Our county was represented by six competitors – in five professions – in the finals held as part of the Professional Star Festival.

The results are:

II. placed

  • Gergely Gudasztrader and online store technician, Miskolc SZC Berzeviczy Gergely Technikum (Training location: Unio Coop, Miskolc Búza tér)
  • Oliver Mátyás Tóthrailway traffic attendant, Miskolci SZC Gábor Baross Business and Transport Technical College (Training site: MÁV)

III. placed

  • Balázs KádárIT technician, Miskolci SZC Kálmán Kálmán Informaticai Technikum
