– What is applied philosophy? It is an emerging field of science whose basic purpose is to respond and reflect on everyday questions and problems – such as the series of cultural changes generated by digital media – with mature concepts and methodologies within the framework of philosophy – emphasized prof. dr. Dean Gábor Szécsi.

Through glocality, the social sciences are slowly realizing that we develop special local ties in the world of digital media. Glocality is an expression born from the combination of the global and the local, which affects all our local ties and all our attitudes towards local traditions. A global point of view that shapes our identity, our concept of tradition and somewhat transforms our image of man, as well as sheds light on a new culture. It is worth highlighting this new culture from the point of view of different disciplines.
