– We organize Curie mathematics, environmental protection and chemistry commemorative competitions every year. The former was the nineteenth this year, in the case of environmental protection, this is the twenty-eighth time, and chemistry will be the thirty-fifth this year – explained Dr. István Török, secretary of the council, chairman of the board of trustees of the Curie Foundation. The main organizer of the Curie competitions highlighted that it is also a good practice to hold a professional conference the day before the environmental and chemistry competitions.

– Every year there is a theme around which we organize the tasks and lectures. This year’s focus of the professional conference is environmental protection and the negative factors affecting it. In addition, we always highlight a national park, now the choice fell on the Aggtelek National Park – said Dr. Mrs. István Török.
The main organizer emphasized that they are also preparing pedagogical-related presentations, in addition to providing special program opportunities for children.
– We expect around three hundred to three hundred and fifty people to be present, we can say that the event is already international. They also come to the competition from across the border. The candidates are represented from Slovakia, Vojvodina and Transylvania, said the chairman of the board of trustees of the Curie Foundation.
