As the man who left the bag told the police, he was in a lottery, he still had the bag there, and then he and his friend drove on. When he noticed that it wasn’t there, they immediately went back to the lottery, looked for it, but couldn’t find it. The police also followed the route they were on. In the end, the bag was found when the honest finder reported it to the Békéscsaba Police Station. The man was very happy and rewarded his benefactor.

Andrea Szombati, the press spokesperson of the Békés county headquarters, said that in connection with what happened, everyone is asked to take care of their personal things! They don’t leave their bags unattended even for a short time when they rest their bikes.

When shopping in stores and markets and choosing between goods, do not put your bags, wallets, or phones on the counter or shelves! It is common for motorists to put their things on the top of the vehicle while they open the car, and it happens that they drive off without it remaining there. Ideally, on the first turn, you’ll be noticed sliding on the roof or sliding off it. The worst case scenario is that they only find out later.
